School Profile:
Tunnell Elementary School is located in Santa Maria and serves students in grades transitional kindergarten through six following a traditional calendar. At the beginning of the 2024-25 school year, 917 students were enrolled, including 9.4% in special education, 43.6% qualifying for English Language Learner support, 0.3% foster youth, 20.2% homeless youth, 8.0% migrant education, and 85.4% socioeconomically disadvantaged.
