School Profile:

Tunnell Elementary School is located in Santa Maria and serves students in grades transitional kindergarten through six (TK-6). Currently for the 2023-2024 school year, (all numbers are an approximation as enrollment changes frequently) 830 students are enrolled, including 11% in special education, 37% qualifying for English Language Learner support, and 80% qualifying for free or reduced-price lunch.

Tunnell Elementary School is a closed campus. During school hours, all visitors must sign in at the school's office and wear identification badges while on school grounds.
